The Austin Transportation Department (ATD) is installing temporary load zones in support of local restaurants that are transitioning to take-out and delivery only service.

On March 17, Mayor Adler and Travis County Judge Sarah Eckhardt announced that Austin-Travis County is suspending dine-in service at restaurants for six weeks under new Orders aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19.

Starting March 18, 2020, we will convert select on-street parking spaces near restaurants to customer pick-up zones to make room for more people to pick up food while practicing appropriate social distancing.

Check the online map to see customer pick-up zone locations. Information on this map will not be updated after 4/22/2020. For accurate information on a given restaurant, please visit that establishment’s website or social media.

You can also use the Park ATX app to utilize these spaces when picking up your order.

The first locations to receive customer pick-up zones will be in areas with high concentrations of restaurants on blocks that do not otherwise have enough loading options
